I didn't. My prayer life is terrible. And then I wonder why I don't feel intimate with God?

I walked in. This man I had never met before, grabbed and said "as a follower christ follower, I can see that your heart is on fire for God. Keep your heart pure, and things will happen, that youve always wanted. Do not go astray with women that willl ead you down to sin, but follow the one that leads you to him"
And I was like...ok then..but when I saw him again, he was completely.."normal" He apologized for ranting, he just said that the Lord needed to tell me that.
Why is that awesome? Because the night before I was torn up about that subject. And I was angry with God because I didn't feel as if I was getting a clear answer with anything. Nothing more clear than an audible voice of God.

I LOVE that God is always sending us signs...
I am really starting to become aware.
Cool story.
Today I prayed for Jake. I prayed for Matt. I prayed for a victim in a car acciedent. I prayed for patience with my relationship with my mom. I prayed for time to breathe. I prayed that today wouldn't be like a normal Sunday morning, but that God would reveal Himself to me (He did). I prayed for school.
I am swimming in God's intimacy lately. I can't believe I tried to live life without prayer. I can't believe I thought I could have an authentic relationship with Christ without prayer.
We need prayer like we need air. We need that time with our Father.
I'm glad I am realizing that and finally living that.

I prayed for desire and depth... I prayed to be like a child and TRUST in jakes situation, family, time, intimacy... I prayed for my eyes to be opened to the need around me... I prayed that I/we would me AMAZED this year!

I prayed for a girl in one of my classes. She is going through her second pregnancy, and shes only 16. Shes unsure who the father is on both of them. Everyone makes fun of her and is referred to by "slut". She needs to be loved, and God is really calling me to be that person.
